CIVIL WAR CENTER OF TEXAS

The CWCT host a “Basic School of the Artillery Piece” each year.

The school will focus on the basic loading and fire drill for muzzle loading artillery with specific and primary emphasis on overall operational safety of the guns as it relates to the individual crew members operating the artillery piece as well as the safety of fellow re-enactors engaged at common events and the public viewing the events.

This training event has not been scheduled for 2011 yet.
